Job Duties
- Monitor premises through patrols and surveillance systems
- Control access to buildings and verify identification
- Write detailed incident and daily activity reports
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and disturbances
- Enforce property rules and regulations
- Assist visitors and provide directions
- Coordinate with law enforcement when necessary
- Conduct safety checks on doors, windows, and gates
- Monitor CCTV cameras and report suspicious activity
- Maintain a visible security presence to deter crime
Requirements
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: No experience required — will train
Work Conditions
- Shift work including nights and weekends
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Must hold valid Ontario security licence
