Job Duties

• Cut, colour, and style hair according to client preferences
• Consult with clients on hair care and styling options
• Apply chemical treatments including perms and relaxers
• Shampoo, condition, and blow-dry hair
• Maintain clean and sanitized workstation and tools
• Stay current with hair trends and techniques
• Build and maintain a loyal client base
• Schedule appointments and manage bookings
• Sell hair care products and recommend treatments
• Follow all health and safety regulations for salons

Requirements

Languages: English

Education: Trade certificate or diploma

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work Conditions

• Standing for extended periods
• Exposure to hair chemicals
• Weekend availability required
