Job Duties

• Install residential and commercial overhead garage doors
• Replace springs, cables, rollers, and tracks
• Install and program automatic garage door openers
• Perform maintenance and safety inspections on existing doors
• Remove old doors and dispose of materials properly
• Read specifications and follow installation guidelines
• Test door operation and make adjustments for smooth function
• Provide excellent customer service during installations
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies in service vehicle
• Complete work orders and collect payment from customers

Requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work Conditions

• Physical labour including lifting heavy doors
• Work at customer locations
• All-weather outdoor work
