Salary: $17.40 - $19.00 hourly / 40-48 hours per week

Job Duties

• Plant, cultivate, and harvest crops by hand and machine
• Operate farm machinery including tractors and harvesters
• Sort, grade, and pack produce for market
• Apply fertilizers and pesticides as directed by supervisor
• Irrigate fields and monitor soil conditions
• Maintain farm buildings, fences, and equipment
• Feed and care for livestock when required
• Clean and sanitize processing areas
• Load produce onto trucks for transport to market
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures

Requirements

Languages: English

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: No experience required — will train

Work Conditions

• Outdoor work in all weather
• Heavy lifting and bending
• Early morning start times
