Job Description
Responsibilities
- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods.
- Prepare batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, as well as icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Bake mixed doughs and batters.
- Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
- Ensure the quality of products meets established standards.
- Safely operate baking machinery.
- Organize and maintain inventory.
- Oversee the sales and merchandising of baked goods.
- Provide on-site bakery customer service.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
Requirements
Job Requirements
- Languages: English
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: Previous baking experience required
- Work Setting: Supermarket or bakery department
- Security and Safety: Bondable
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
- Fast-paced environment, working under pressure.
- Physically demanding, including standing for extended periods.
- Repetitive tasks with frequent turning, reaching, and bending.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
