Salary: $25.00 - $32.00 hourly / 40-44 hours per week

Job Duties

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Set up and operate welding equipment including MIG, TIG, and stick
• Weld metal components according to project specifications
• Inspect welds for quality and compliance with standards
• Prepare metal surfaces by grinding, cutting, and cleaning
• Operate plasma cutters and oxy-fuel cutting equipment
• Fabricate metal structures, frames, and assemblies
• Maintain welding equipment and report defects
• Follow all safety procedures including use of PPE
• Assist with layout and fitting of metal components

Requirements

Languages: English

Education: Trade certificate or diploma

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Work Conditions

• Exposure to heat, sparks, and fumes
• Work in shop and field locations
• Heavy lifting required
