Job Duties

• Assist licensed plumbers with installation and repair work
• Cut, thread, and assemble pipes and fittings
• Carry tools, materials, and equipment to job sites
• Dig trenches for underground piping systems
• Test pipes for leaks using pressure gauges
• Install fixtures including sinks, toilets, and water heaters
• Read and interpret blueprints and plumbing diagrams
• Maintain clean and safe work areas on job sites
• Load and unload supplies from work vehicles
• Follow building codes and safety regulations

Requirements

Languages: English

Education: Apprenticeship certificate

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Work Conditions

• Physically demanding
