Head Chef Full Time

OHKIM Sushi and Grill is looking for an experienced Head Chef. We are located in Vernon, BC.

Position: Head Chef
Working Hours: Full-Time, Permanent position (30~40 hours a week)

Wage: $36.70~$37/hour

Main Duties:

Ÿ   Prepare food and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions

Ÿ   Plan food preparation and menus and ensure food meets quality standards

Ÿ   Estimate amount and costs of supplies and food items and estimate labor cost

Ÿ   Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs

Ÿ   Consult with clients regarding special events

Ÿ   Supervise chefs and cooks

Requirements:

– 3 years of work experience in commercial food preparation

– High school diploma or higher

– Ability to communicate in English
