“O Sushi” Japanese Restaurant located at 742 Granville Street. Vancouver is looking to hire an experienced full time Cook. Details are below.

Position: Cook

Working Condition: Full Time, Permanent, 30~40 hrs per week

Wage: $20~$22 per hour

Work Location: 742 Granville Street Vancouver BC, V6Z 1E4

Job Description:

– Preparing and cooking Japanese dishes on the menu

– Maintaining inventory and records that what food has been prepared and what ingredients were used

– Cooking food by either steaming, roasting, frying, braising, etc

– Clean kitchen and work area

– Ensuring maintenance of food temperatures, and functionality of kitchen

– Checking kitchen operations

Minimum Qualification Include:

– High School Diploma

– Minimum 1 and half year work experience in commercial cooking

– Basic understanding of cooking and knife handling skills

– Available on evenings and weekends

– Able to communicate in English
