Job Duties

• Cut, trim, and prepare meat cuts for retail sale
• Operate commercial meat cutting equipment and band saws
• Wrap, weigh, and price meat products for display
• Maintain meat display cases in clean and attractive condition
• Receive and inspect incoming meat deliveries
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of meat products
• Grind meat and prepare sausages and specialty products
• Advise customers on meat selection and cooking methods
• Sharpen knives and maintain cutting tools
• Follow food safety and sanitation regulations

Requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
