Job Description
We are looking for a reliable, caring, and responsible Home Child Care Provider to provide childcare in our private residence in Maple Ridge, BC. The caregiver will be responsible for supervising and caring for the child and assisting with daily routines and activities.
Responsibilities
Supervise and care for the child in the employer's residence.
Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for the child.
Assist the child with personal hygiene and daily routines as required.
Organize activities such as games, crafts, reading, and outdoor activities.
Accompany the child to and from school, appointments, and activities when required.
Help the child with homework and age-appropriate learning activities.
Perform light housekeeping duties related to childcare.
Wash, iron, and organize the child's clothing when required.
Keep the child's bedroom, play areas, and other areas used by the child clean and organized.
Follow the parents' instructions regarding routines, discipline, meals, and activities.
Keep records of daily activities and health information when required.
Requirements
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Experience: Previous childcare experience is an asset.
Language: English.
Work Setting: Employer's home / Private residence.
Transportation: Public transportation is available.
Skills and Personal Suitability
The successful candidate should be dependable, responsible, organized, patient, caring, flexible, and able to work independently.
