Hachi Hana Japanese Restaurant
Position: Head Chef, Full time, Permanent
Location: 1426 Lonsdale Ave North Vancouver, British Columbia V7M 2J1 Canada
Salary Rate: $34.80~$36.65 hour and 30 Hours per week
Duties
– Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions
– Plan food preparation and cooking activities of the restaurant
– Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
– Estimate amount and costs of supplies and food items and labour costs
– Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
– Consult with clients regarding special functions or events
– Supervise activities of chefs and cooks and recruit staff
Qualifications:
– 3 years of experience in commercial food preparation including some supervisory experience
– Able to communicate in English
– Available to work in evening and weekends
– Completion of High School graduation or higher
