Job Duties

• Load and unload construction materials on job sites
• Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks
• Clean and prepare construction sites for work
• Operate hand tools and power tools as directed
• Mix concrete, mortar, and other materials
• Direct traffic around construction zones when required
• Set up and dismantle scaffolding and temporary structures
• Dig trenches and excavations using hand tools
• Sort and remove construction waste and debris
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

Requirements

Languages: English

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: No experience required — will train

Work Conditions

• Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs
• Outdoor work in all weather
• Physically demanding
