Salary: $17.50 - $19.50 hourly / 35-40 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time

Job Duties

• Assist lead educators with daily program activities
• Supervise children during play, meals, and rest times
• Prepare materials and set up activity areas
• Help children with personal care including toileting and dressing
• Observe and record children's behaviour and development
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom environment
• Communicate with parents about their child's day
• Follow centre policies and licensing requirements
• Assist with meal preparation and cleanup
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions

Requirements

Languages: English

Education: College/CEGEP certificate or diploma

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Work Conditions

• Physically active with young children
• Patience and energy required
• Valid First Aid/CPR required
