Salary: $20.00 - $23.00 hourly / 40 hours per week

Terms of employment: Temporary, Full-time

Start date: Starts as soon as possible

Job Duties

• Assist carpenters with framing, forming, and finishing
• Carry lumber, tools, and materials to work areas
• Measure and cut wood using hand and power tools
• Hold materials in place during installation
• Clean up job sites and remove construction debris
• Set up and take down scaffolding and work platforms
• Operate hand tools including hammers, saws, and drills
• Apply caulking and weather stripping to windows and doors
• Assist with installation of drywall and insulation
• Follow all workplace safety regulations and procedures

Requirements

Languages: English

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: No experience required — will train

Work Conditions

• Outdoor work in extreme cold
• Heavy lifting
• Work at heights on scaffolding
