Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Indigenous Job Board Canada website located at indigenousjobboardcanada.ca ("Platform"), operated by Kohar Innovations Limited ("we", "us", or "our"), located at 15910 Fraser Hwy, Surrey, BC, Canada.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

User Accounts

To access certain features of the Platform, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update your information as necessary to keep it accurate. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

Job Postings

Employers may post job listings on the Platform by purchasing a posting plan. All job postings must comply with applicable Canadian employment laws, including human rights legislation and employment standards. We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any job posting that violates these Terms, contains discriminatory language, is misleading, or is otherwise inappropriate. Job postings must accurately represent the position, compensation, and requirements of the role.

Employer Responsibilities

Employers using the Platform agree to comply with all applicable federal, provincial, and territorial laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Canadian Human Rights Act and applicable employment standards legislation. Employers are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of their job postings, the hiring process, and any employment decisions made through the Platform. Employers must not use the Platform to engage in any discriminatory hiring practices prohibited by law.

Payments & Refunds

Job posting plans are available at the following price points: Standard ($35 for 4 months), Extended ($50 for 6 months), and Premium ($65 for 10 months). All prices are in Canadian dollars and are subject to applicable taxes. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Plans auto-renew at the end of each term unless cancelled before the renewal date.

We offer a 7-day refund policy from the date of purchase. If you are unsatisfied with the service, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial payment by contacting us at hello@indigenousjobboardcanada.ca. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. After the 7-day period, payments are non-refundable.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, graphics, logos, trademarks, and other materials on the Platform are the property of Kohar Innovations Limited or its licensors and are protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any content from the Platform without our prior written consent. Content you submit to the Platform (such as job postings or profile information) remains your property, but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating the Platform.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kohar Innovations Limited and its directors, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease. Any provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall continue to apply, including but not limited to intellectual property provisions, limitation of liability, and governing law.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia, Canada.
