Sushi Mura Restaurant Ltd dba Sushi Mura River District is looking for a full time permanent COOK to join the team as soon as possible.

Job Details
Location: 3545 Sawmill Crescent, Vancouver, BC V5S 0E3
Wage: $25.00 to $37.00 / hour (To be negotiated)

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time 30 to 40 hours / week
Start date: As soon as possible
Work Setting: Restaurant
Benefit: 4 percent of total wages for vacation pay

Job requirements
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Capabilities:
• Able to work in fast-paced environment
• Able to stand for extended periods

Job Duties
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and
monitor and order supplies
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
