Child Care Worker – Full-Time
Location: Lindsay, ON K9V 0A6
Salary: $20.00 per hour
Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week
Terms: Permanent, Full-time
Work Setting: Employer’s home (on-site work only)

We are looking for a dedicated Child Care Worker to provide excellent care and supervision for children in a home setting. The role requires someone who is passionate about working with children, ensuring their safety, emotional well-being, and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:
Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
Maintain a safe and healthy environment within the home
Organize fun and engaging activities, such as games, outings, and arts & crafts
Prepare and serve nutritious meals for children
Supervise and care for children of various ages
Provide transportation for children to and from school, appointments, etc.
Tend to the emotional well-being of children, offering a supportive and nurturing environment
Requirements:
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in childcare
Certifications: CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
Ability to supervise and care for children in a home setting
Patience and ability to multitask in a busy environment
Physical ability to handle repetitive tasks and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Working Conditions:
Work Setting: Employer’s home (no remote work options available)
Shifts: Flexible working hours, including early morning, evening, weekend, and on-call shifts
