Early Childhood Educator Full Time

Little Scholars Childcare is looking for a full-time Early Childhood Educator. Please find the details as below.

Ÿ   Position: Full time, Permanent, Early Childhood Educator

Ÿ   Working hour: 30~40 hours per week

Ÿ   Wage: 23.50 CAD per hour

Ÿ   Working Location: 5895 Reef Rd, Sechelt, BC, V0N 3A6

Ÿ   Main Duties:

–       Observe and Record on progress and behavior of children, communicates with parents

–       Lead activities by telling or reading stories and teaching songs.

–       Supervise the children playing outdoor

–       Plan, develop, and implement child programs to promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children

–       Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow

–       Observe children in their surroundings and assess individual and group needs

–       -Discuss progress or problems of children with parent and other ECE teacher

–       Maintain the environment clean and safe to protect the health of children

Ÿ   Requirement :

–        ECE license to practice from the BC Early Childhood Educator Registry

–        Experience working in early learning or childcare Centre is an asset

–        First Aid Certificate

–        Able to communicate in English

–        Education diploma in Early Child education
