Working Location: 5204 HIGHWAY STREET, Valleyview, AB, T0H 3N0

Job Position: Head Chef

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time, 30 hours a week

Wage: $36 per hour

Responsibilities:

Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards

Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities

Estimate amount and costs of supplies and food items

Supervise activities of other chef, cook and kitchen staff

Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets

Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions

Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs

Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets and specialty functions

Leading/instructing individuals

Requirement:

– 3 years of work experience in commercial food preparation

– Able to communicate in English

– Secondary Education or higher

– Available working on weekends
