Hairstylist (MN Salon) Full Time

MN Hair Group Ltd dba MN Salon is looking for a full-time permanent Hairstylist to join the team as soon as possible.

Location: 20353 64 Ave, Suite 123, Langley, BC V2Y 1N5

Hourly rate:  $20.00 – $35.00 / hour (To be negotiated)

Vacancies: 1

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time (30- 40 hours / week)

Start date: As soon as possible

Work setting: hairstyling salon

Benefit: 4 percent of total wages for vacation pay

Job Requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods

Job Duties

• Analyze hair and scalp condition and provide custom hair and scalp treatment

• Consult clients about scalp or hair conditions

• Suggest hairstyle compatible with client’s physical traits

• Cut and trim hair according to client’s instructions or preferences

• Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair

• Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to color, frost or streak hair

• Apply hair extensions

• Shampoo customers’ hair
