Lead with Purpose. Drive Change. Empower Communities. Dilico Anishinabek Family Care delivers holistic services that support the complete life journey of all Anishinabek people. Rooted in cultural traditions and guided by the wisdom of past generations, our mission is to transform the approach to Indigenous child, family, and community wellness – creating pathways to healing, stability, and self-determination.
Through the Dilico Integrated Model of Care, we provide a comprehensive range of services, ensuring children, youth, and families thrive physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. From child welfare, and mental health to primary healthcare and addiction services, we remain community-driven, culturally anchored and committed to reconciliation.
About the Role
As Chief Executive Officer, you will set the strategic direction and operational foundation for the organization, ensuring stability while advancing a vision for decentralized, community-based service delivery. Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will be responsible for evaluating and strengthening existing services before considering expansion, aligning with the Chief’s directive for local, culturally relevant care.
Fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and trust, the Chief Executive Officer will balance administrative responsibilities with a strong commitment to direct service delivery. Through influential leadership, mentorship, and a collaborative approach, you will rally the team around a shared vision, champion Indigenous recruitment, workforce retention, and focus on building capacity within the organization. By fostering professional growth and development, you will also lead the integration of performance measurement systems to drive continuous improvement and enhance service delivery. At the heart of this role is relationship building – you will play a key role in strengthening relationships with Chiefs, staff, government agencies and external partners, ensuring that the organization is responsive to community needs and aligned with the principles of Truth & Reconciliation.
